“Visuals by Korbin Bennett-Gold. Shot on 16mm color reversal film. Colored oils are shown cohabiting separately in a trey, and the resulting moving mosaic represents the same beauty as of a birds eye view of a busy area in a multicultural community. When the colors are mixed together as they would be in a real melting pot, they are shown unbalanced. The climactic end of the film displays a beautiful swirl of many colors mixed together in the dish, projected onto the screen as a colorless blob. None of the color’s that had shown through individually transmit their unique light.”
